OUR STORY

Like most great ideas, the story of AUS-ROV began in a pub...

In 2010, two Brothers became acquainted with a Scottish ROV Superintendent by the name Bill Bulloch at a local Gold Coast Pub. Adrian had just completed university and was working at the pub and pulling beers for Bill the regular, a high-flying Scotsman from Aberdeen, the home of offshore oil & gas and ROVs. Bill drank Adrian’s beers, Adrian listened to Bill’s stories, and Bill offered Adrian some work to get experience in the field. Unknown to Adrian and Bill, Alex had just begun conducting inspections of water tank infrastructure, using the world’s smallest miniROV that his current employer had acquired through Bill. The connection was complete, and the following year, AUS-ROV was founded, and the trio embarked on a journey destined for success.
